Goed nieuws voor Katendrecht: De Scharnier in Rotterdam kan doorgaan

The planned construction of the residential complex can go ahead without further delay, now that local residents have decided not to appeal against the project. This means future residents are one step closer to their new home.

Scharnier Rotterdam, located on the Maashaven, comprises 118 homes and various facilities, including an extension to De Globetrotter primary school. The project is an important addition to the redevelopment of Katendrecht and contributes to the neighbourhood's vibrant mix of housing, education and public space.

The plan is an initiative of developer New Industry, designed by Kraaijvanger Architects and will be realised by construction company Heijmans. With the completion of the legal procedures, work can now start without further obstacles.
